The belt seems to be of good quality.

It is not leather.

The outer layer of the belt seems to be made with a flexible tpu plastic material (front and back side) with a rough (non-gloss) finish and a thickness of about 0.3 mm.

The edges are also made with the same plastic material with a smooth finish and about 0.3 mm thickness.

The internal part of the belt is made with some type of fiberous material (probably recycled polyester fibers).

The belt is very flexible and does not come apart when bent multiple times.

I believe that the reason that this belt will hold up well is because of the following reasons:

The inner material is very flexible and holds together well.

The outer layer material is flexible and thick enough to withstand rough treatment.

Also the outer layer is bonded very well to the inner layer preventing separation.

This belt will hold up very well under normal every day usage.
