According to the product description, it is indeed polyester, not as advertised as a straw hat, but the description clearly states polyester, so no surprises.

Adjustable size with a lace in the lining, tends to deform, store flat when not in use.

It has a strap to adjust it to your head circumference size within the sizes mentioned, it's practical in that sense, but you'll have to adjust the outer decorative strap it comes with to avoid losing it, otherwise it's fine, nice color and quite malleable, material similar to natural, but of course with the price it has, it's not an authentic Panama.

hat arrived in good condition, it was not deformed. However, the overall shape disappointed me; the edges are too wide for my taste. The size corresponds well to what was advertised.
