It's a really nice earring, it's really like the images show. i'm not 100% sure, but it looks and feels kinda solid, so i'll believe it's steel, could be a mix of metals, and not pure pure steel or iron, but's really good feeling on hands and wearing it. man these feel amazing, they are really tough, and the spikes feel really solid, i really liked them, it could be some trouble if you use a lot of bit earbuds or something alike, but i don't think it'll bother you in a way that cause you to hate it. so it's really cool.

Perfect and the material is excellent. My wife has sensitivity, and if the material is bad, it causes her pain, and she wears these all the time and doesn't take them off for anything.
